Almost went crazy in such shops... there’s so much things to buy
here…
OMG, I want to stay in Japan!
Cigarette vending machine…
I wonder how they control selling of cigarettes to under-aged smokers…
Well... the taxis are all black…
I suppose that’s a good thing cos the taxi fleets look uniform and
smart,
unlike in Singapore where you have blue, red, white, green taxis
(rojaks?)…. ?
Shin-Sai Bashi Suji Entrance...
Famous Glico Logo...
Overwhelming neon signs…
That's loud.... Isn't it?
Ouch… my eyes hurts….
Pose Pose...
Were busy taking pictures and we smelled something really
nice…
It’s the BBQ Hokkaido crabs! Not expensive I think (JPY500 which is
about S$6.50)
but we couldn’t afford Dumbo elephant in USJ… so plans to conquer
Hokkaido crabs aborted…
Vance:
Actually not a really big crab fan, else there's no stopping us ;)
Could only just drool…
Can we move away pls? These set menus are so tempting…
This crab sign actually moves!
Vance: The
Legs i.e. :)
MOS burger for dinner… It tasted authentic…
Verdict : MOS burger in Japan tasted better…
Decent breakfast from the hotel...
Most hotels in Japan (the affordable ones) do not include breakfast in
their package,
this one did. Although variety is limited, the essential things like
bread,
coffee/tea/juices/milk, Japanese soup, rice and other small Japanese
dishes were available…
BTW, it is basic courtesy to clear your own bowls and trays after
meals…. Don’t forget ah…
It's common to find coin laundry & dryers in most hotels
[Average cost = JPY200 (S$2.60) per wash]...
But do note that some of them don’t come with washing power…
So if you plan to wash your clothes using these coin laundries,
remember to bring along the washing power,
otherwise that will cost you additional JPY50 (S$0.70)…
Personally, we found the dryer’s a killer,
as it cost JPY100 (S$1.30) for 30 mins of mild warm heating….
Hence, at least 4 rounds of drying are required.
Our damage = JPY200 + 4 X JPY100; Total = JPY600 (S$7.80) for washing
of clothes…
Vance: Guess
who does all the "Laundry work" there (and back in SG?) hehe...
Land of the vending machines….
Guess what this is?
Vance: Clue, for (some) men's needs....
