Located just beside Tempozan Habour Village, Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan is one
of the largest aquariums in the world. Initially we thought this is just another
Underwater World (Think : Sentosa). The moment we stepped in, we realised we
were so wrong as the various exhibits are simply breathtaking… especially the
Pacific Ocean tank that features not one but 2 whale sharks and Spinetail
mobulas (Large sized rays)… We spent several hours looking at the underwater
creatures…
Admission cost = JPY2,000 per pax (Using the Osaka 2 day pass
and there’s JPY100 off) [S$25]
Location: Japan - Osaka

Outside Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan...

Vending machines for admission tickets... Seems that most places of interests in
Japan use such machines...

Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan here we come...

Taking photo with dummy whale shark? Not our cup of tea...

It's a long long journey to reach 8th floor...

Vance: I think it will take a while and a LOT of people to finish one, best served, Steamed! :P

Baby penguins...

There's King Penguin, Gentoo Penguin and Rockhopper Penguins in the Antarctica
