Leaving for Tokyo in the afternoon later but before that, we visited Yagizaki
Park for a day view of Lake Kawaguchi.
Lake Kawaguchi is the most easily
accessible of the Fuji Five Lakes as it is well connected with central Tokyo by
both trains and direct buses. Between Mid-June to late July, visitors can see
beautiful purple lavenders at Yagisaki Park and Oishi Park during the
Kawaguchiko Herb Festival.
We were simply wrapped in the fragrance of
the lavender when we visited the Yagisaki Park opposite our hotel. Weather was
fantastic as it was cooling and sunny. We were simply amazed by the blooming
flowers and the number of dogs that came up the mountain with their owners.
There’s great weather, scenery, flowers and most importantly, there’s so many
kawaii dogs! Can we live here please?
Vance: Hmmm, am I suppose to farm for a living here!?!?
Location: Japan - Mt. Fuji
Vance with Mu-Niu Pooh again…
Suggested walking trail… Eerr… though it’s cooling,
I think it’s going to
tiring…
Lilies blooming as well…
Lake Kawaguchi view from the park…
It would be so relaxing to sit by the lake and do nothing…
it’s a pity we didn’t
have time for that…
Artist performing in the park…
Vance: He's actually pretty good! His music (some Kitaro gene) blends with the flowers!
And that’s the artist’s dog!

Information on Lavender…
Another dog spotted!
More flowers...
I lost count on the number of dogs spotted…
