Tomorrowland is a place where visitors could experience a fun and exciting look at what the future might hold for humankind...

Whereas Toontown is a very colourful place and seems to be very crowded with people, even on a Monday...

Location: Japan - Tokyo

Once we stepped into Disneyland,
we proceeded immediately to Tomorrowland so as to obtain
Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters’ Fastpass.
It’s 8.15AM only and look at the queue for the Fastpass…

Using our admission tickets to obtain Fastpass for the ride…

After the 1st Pooh's Hunny Hunt ride,
we came back to Tomorrowland.
Using the Fastpass, we were admitted in less than 5 mins :)
Yippy!

Featuring, the space-suited character, Buzz Lightyear from The Toy Story…

The premise of Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters is that a bad guy named
Zerg has stolen the batteries from the toys,
and it's your job to venture into outer space and help Buzz defeat Zerg and his minions.

Each ride vehicle is equipped with two ray gun-looking devices which
you use to point and shoot at a myriad number of targets that appear throughout the ride.
The targets vary in shape and size, and the smaller the target the higher the points you receive.
Your score appears on a digital counter at the front of the vehicle, and at the end of the ride
you can check your score on a chart to see what level you achieved. No prizes though…

We are no marksman… Managed to obtain level 2 only…

Tomorrowland Terrace (where we had our lunch)
is the largest seating capacity restaurant in Tokyo Disneyland…

Serves counter-service fast-food and it was packed
with visitors even on a Monday afternoon…

The Teriyaki chicken burger tasted not bad…
So is this Mickey Mouse Blueberry Moose that I’m holding…

In Tomorrowland Hall, there was a lucky draw for VIP seats
for the Summer Night entertainment “Starlight Dreams”…

Works similarly to obtaining FastPass... We wouldn’t so lucky… *Haiz*

Obtaining FastPass for Space Mountain ride…

Space Mountain is a simulation of a high speed ride through outer space.
This "simulation" is really an indoor roller coaster,
with thematic sound effects and projections of stars and flying meteors on the inside walls.
Unlike other roller coaster, you can’t see a single thing when you are on the ride!
And that definitely adds to the thrill and excitement. Highly recommended ride!

Showbase is a covered amphitheatre and is home to the various live stage shows…

Although there's a lot of seating,
there's always a line for the show which can form long before the show starts.
If you want to get a good seat, make sure you arrive at least 45 minutes before show time….
As we arrived punctually, we have to stand at the back rows to watch the show…
