We visited Sanrio Puroland – An indoor theme park created by
Sanrio, Japan's leading maker of character goods in the morning. This
is the land of Hello Kitty & her friends…
Located in the outskirts of Tokyo - Tama district, it took us an hour
plus by train from Shin-Okachimachi. Take the Keio line and the rapid
train bound for Hashimoto. Get off at Tama Centre and it’s a 5 mins
walk to Puroland.
Don't be mistaken by my pink jacket (BTW, that's actually a Pooh
Jacket) & skirt, I am NOT a Kitty Fan... Vance is a super
Tabo-San fan and that’s the reason why we were there…
In comparison to Disneyland, Puroland is really small but it
is still worth the trip as we were basically surrounded by so much
"Kawaii-ness"...
It's quite disappointing that we didn't have a chance to take a picture
with Tabo-San. The shops here (and everywhere else in Japan) don't
carry much Tabo's stuffs as well... Maybe Tabo has migrated to Hong
Kong or Thailand?
