The renowned Shilin Night Market…
And it’s really crowded….
One of our culture shock, not the number of scooters but
rather scooters
will go anywhere, including pedestrian platforms!
Along Shilin Night Market, there’s this famous restaurant…
The toilet restaurant! Where stools are toilet seats and tables are
bathtubs.
Even food are served in mini toilet bowls! Initially we wanted to
have dinner here but the smell of toilet air refreshers (I think on purpose)
in
the restaurant drove us crazy and we almost felt like puking… Next please!
Our hotel, Rainbow Hotel where we stayed for 7 nights.
This is a double
bedded room and space is really limited.
My sis (and her friend) stayed in the
twin sharing room and
it was definitely more spacious. The worst part was they
didn’t
pay extra! So lesson learnt (If you intend to stay in Rainbow Hotel),
never request for a double bedded room…
On board the Taipei Metro…
Queue for boarding the train… Taiwanese are really neat and orderly
(compared to Singapore) in this aspect…
Inside Taipei 101 Shopping Mall…
Too up class for us, next please!
In front of Taipei 101… Taipei 101 is the highest architectural
structure
currently and will be soon be taken over by Burj Dubai…
Wu Fen Pu Wholesale Centre…
Ladies fashion at wholesale prices.
Highly
recommended for young ladies but do remember
that this place opens only in the
evening…
Rao He Street
Night Market, another popular night market in Taiwan…
The smell of smelly bean curds drove us mad!
So we decided to have
ice-cream in this air con stall
(while waiting for sis)…
Miramar Ferries Wheel located in
Miramar Entertainment Park is
Taiwan’s tallest wheel…
Departing Miramar Entertainment Park ,we proceeded to
Tamsui
Fisherman Wharf. And look what we caught on this picture…
Rainbow! Absolutely
stunning!
Tamsui Fisherman Wharf is a scenic spot at the western tip of
Tamsui…
Lover Bridge of Tamsui…
Where you can appreciate sunset from this bridge…
While having sightseeing and leisure facilities,
Tamsui Fisherman Wharf
still holds its functionality as a harbour for fishing boats…
Pose pose on the bridge…
Lover Bridge of Tamsui was inaugurated on 14 February 2003,
Valentine's Day. Hence it’s name “Lover Bridge”…
As usual, Mu-Miu pooh was there…
Sitting along the bridge and waiting for sunset…
It’s so relaxing
enjoying the breeze…
While waiting, guess what we saw…
It’s a doggie whom has broken his leg!
The owners have brought him out
with a stroller.
That’s so thoughtful of them…
Do try out this stall along Tamsui Fisherman Wharf,
their signature dish
is “Ah Gei”…
Outside the public toilets in Tamsui Fisherman Wharf,
we found these
toilet signs hilarious…
I can’t really blame them since English is not their main language used
The picturesque Lover Bridge of Tamsui at night…
Directions to Tamsui Fisherman Wharf :
From Danshui MRT station, take
Red "26" bus and
you will reach Tamsui Fisherman Wharf in no time…
